Rockburn CX – Elite Women 1/2/3, B 3/4, Masters 45+

Another friggin’ gorgeous day of cyclocross in the Mid-Atlantic. Which, of course, also means a bit too dry and kinda too warm by midday for CX (for some), but I ain’t gonna complain. It could be freezing and wet, which I know is considered “real CX conditions”🙄, but in the early AM that’s nothing but a massive bag of suck.

Ladies combined field threw themselves at the fast, technical Rockburn CX course proving, yet again, to be the best racing of the day. I attended J-Pows’ CX Camp with more than a few of them and it’s been amazing to watch their progression. Love this sport.

Note: apologies for the abnormally shaky video. Guess hitting my head during my race had enough of an effect to throw off my game. Plus, that handle’s got me over compensating for the weight and I’m aiming high when following the action without looking. (Head is doing just fine!)

Hope you enjoy!
