Put Something In The Box
I stumbled upon these images during a furious evening of making internet. Unfortunately, I can’t remember who tweeted it originally.
Yes, I suck.
Regardless, these images by Tom Olesnevich are lovely indeed. Having nothing to do with racing, they have everything to do with getting your heart racing. Tom manages to capture a tire view essence of his beloved city and all of them are exhilarating.
In Tom’s words:
nyc by bike – During the spring of 2012 I sought to capture and highlight the best of what riding my bicycle in NYC looks like and means to me. This, then, is my love letter to NYC.
Been meaning to check out Balint’s Superprestige Asper-Gavere images from laatste weekend only to get to it today. When I scrolled down past his personal recap of the day, upon seeing the first images I uttered out loud, “Oh, wow.”
The first paragraph of his day at Asper-Gavere reveals why:
Last year, the Asper-Gavere race was remarkable for me because it was one the best races for me, photos-wise. This year the weather and many more things made the day unforgettable.
The images are superb.
Please visit Cyclephotos to see the rest of the set and read Balint’s recap. It’s well worth it.
Current 5 Questions featured shutterbug Emily Maye just posted some killer shots from yesterday’s #USGPcx in Louisville, KY. Always a fresh view with anything she snaps.
Emily’s also #qualityoflightdoping.
Can’t get enough of these shots from Josh Garlich in Tenspeed Hero’s post, Dispatch: Wisconsun. “Quality of light” is correct. The captures here are crisp and refreshing like a San Pellegrino after a dusty day in the saddle.
Hopefully we’ll see more of Josh in the near future.
Check out the rest of the set on Tenspeed Hero.
