Put Something In The Box
Swobo and Bicycle Times are proud to announce the launch of a five-part interview and video series entitled, Movers and Makers: People That Inspire Us. Volume 1 features Christopher Igleheart, a custom bicycle frame builder in Portland, Oregon.
The Movers and Makers series is a collaboration between urban bicycle and apparel brand, Swobo and the magazine of everyday cycling adventure, Bicycle Times. Focusing on inspirational individuals within the bicycle industry, Movers and Makers aims to share their stories through online videos and corresponding interviews in the print magazine. “Working with Bicycle Times on this project makes total sense for Swobo,” said Kevin Murphy, Director of Marketing for Swobo. “They speak to the same group of cyclists that we have built our brand around—people who don’t see cycling as just a recreational hobby, but rather as a way of life. These stories are a way to connect with these people and Bicycle Times is a great partner to help us achieve that effort.”
The first installment of the Movers and Makers series chronicles the history of veteran frame builder Christopher Igleheart. From working in bike shops and with other iconic frame builders in New England to his present day home in Portland, Oregon, Igleheart’s career spans 40 years in the bike industry and his expertise ranges across all styles of bike builds.
“We are stoked to be partnering with Swobo on this project and look forward to uncovering some of the great lesser-known personalities that make the bike world go around,” said Maurice Tierney, Publisher of Bicycle Times. “In the end, it really is all about the people.”
