Before this press release arrived in my inbox I had never heard of Thunderbolt Original Jeans. However, their use of Schoeller® Dryskin is intriguing. With the fleece like lining, wind-resistance, and Nano-Sphere DWR, these jeans sound like they can deal with a variety of adverse conditions.

They’re $200 (USD), so I know I’ll get pushback re: the price and that jeans are jeans and you can get them for… Anyway, they’re designed and hand sewn in Portland, America. Which is fuggin’ awesome.

Commute in comfort and warmth with the Mark II’s 4-way stretch Schoeller® Dryskin soft-shell fabric with a soft fleece like lining. Designed with wind resistant materials and a Nano-Sphere water repellent coating, these jeans can outlast even the harshest elements. The Mark II provides a modern fit and high performance for a seamless transition off the saddle and into the office. The Mark II Jeans are designed and sewn in Portland, OR, using Imported swiss fabric.

The Mark II comes in 3 colorways of Alloy, Blacktop and ‘Jean’ with classic yellow stitching. And Is available in a variety of waist size and lengths.
