The CXOff: Jeremy Powers DC CX Camp D1

Favorite game console startup gets the call to announce Season Two of The CXOff Cyclocross Racing Project. I’ll have more info on what I have planned and who’s joining me again and a few new additions.

Until then, enjoy some preseason shenanigans below…

It Was 🔥🔥🔥 For Jeremy Powers DC CX Camp!!

Breaking off the rust on an extremely 🔥🔥🔥 day 1 of 2 at the Jeremy Powers DC CX Camp. The weekend at the Armed Forces Retirement Home and site of DCCX with Jeremy, Bill (@CXHairs), and the coaching crew was perfect despite the blistering and decidedly non-cross temps.

I learned some new tricks and refined the skills I learned last year. I can’t emphasize enough how a camp or clinic for cyclocross will accelerate your learning process. I knew nothing last year and came away with everything I needed for a fun and successful season. This time, I had some definitive areas of improvement I wanted to focus on. I addressed them as planned and came away with an unexpected improvement in technique for my starts.

I’ll explain more later—I really just want to get this first video posted!!

Note: Apologies for the wind noise but I kept losing the dead kitty on the Sony mic so I left it off halfway through the video. Need a better solution for that, because it obviously didn’t work.
